Many things are often complained about by Android smartphone users, one of the most complained of is the unstable signal captured by Android smartphones . Changes often occur between the connection speeds of the Edge, 3G, HSDPA and 4G LTE networks, when it is fun to surf in cyberspace with 4G LTE speeds suddenly turning into HSDPA or EDGE and finally the access speed slows down.
Not only is the 4G LTE and HSDPA coverage uneven, or the distance of the base station, it turns out that Android smartphones must also be adjusted so that the Android network connection and operator signals remain stable.
Here are some simple steps that can be used to make the Android smartphone signal stronger. Keep in mind, these tips are not as signal amplifiers but aim to make stable signals captured by Android smartphones. Generally Android smartphones have provided a signal settings menu as in the settings feature, but there are some Androids that hide it. If you have trouble finding this feature, follow these steps:
Turn on your Android smartphone, run the dialed menu (call) then press the following code * # * # 4636 # * # *
Without having to press the call button, the information screen will appear on the smartphone screen in the form of: Phone information, Battery Information, Usage Statistics and Wi-fi information. Select "Phone information"
In the Phone Information menu all information about the IMEI, Phone Number, Network and signal connection will appear in your Android smartphone. This includes displaying signal strength, location, internet data connection information and so on.
To test the signal connection try "run ping test" , to change the network connection from "preffered" to "only" select the "set preferred network type" menu , there are many desired options WCDMA preferred, GSM Only (Edge, GPRS), WCDMA only (HSDPA, HSDPA +, 3G), Global, LTE Only and so on.
If you want an Android Network Connection on HSDPA - 3G then choose the settings atWCDMA only , and vice versa. And if you want to get an Android Network Connection 4G LTE that is smooth, LTE only, but the obstacle is the selection of LTE Only we will not be able to receive and make phone calls and SMS. Then Refresh and wait a while then our network will be reset.
Noteworthy is if you are in a location with an android network connection whose coverage area has a 4G LTE and HSDPA coverage area - 3G is good, you should set LTE only or WCDMA only, but if you only cover the network on Edge - GPRS then set to GSM only . Forcing signals is only connected to HSDPA (3G, H +) or to EDGE (GPRS)this alone will cause us to have to change the connection settings according to the conditions of the area we are visiting. If you don't change it, you will lose signal when entering an area with different signal conditions (4G LTE to HSDPA or EDGE / vice versa) .
The advantage of setting a signal capture manually will make the network connection more stable, such as only running on 4G LTE or HSDPA only or only on EDGE, depending on user needs. Another advantage is saving battery and reducing heat because the Android system does not have to keep looking for a stable signal connection located on EDGE, HSDPA or 4G LTE which requires excessive battery consumption.
