In 2019 this has entered the early era of 5G networks. For this reason, Samsung launched the 5G Galaxy S10 along with other Galaxy S10 family smartphones in San Francisco, United States yesterday.
Compared to other Galaxy S10 families, it turns out this smartphone has the largest screen with a width of 6.7 inches. In addition, the screen has Quad HD + resolution (3040 x 1440 pick), Dynamic AMOLED technology, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 scratch resistant glass.
With a 19: 9 aspect ratio, the screen fills the front without the presence of bangs but a tompel with two front cameras. Of course, this reduces the upper bezel to be thinner than the previous generation.
At first glance, the two front cameras have a combination of a 10 MP primary camera + a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) secondary camera that can produce good quality selfies or wefies. The primary front camera is also capable of recording video up to 4K resolution.
Furthermore, the four rear cameras present on the Galaxy S10 5G have a combination of 12 MP primary camera (aperture f / 1.5 and f / 2.4) + 12 MP secondary camera with telephoto lens (aperture f / 2.4) + 16 MP primary camera with ultrawide lens (aperture f / 2.2) + 3D ToF, OIS, Dual Pixel PDAF, and LED Flash cameras that can produce good photos.
The main camera of the 5G Galaxy S10 is capable of recording 4K video, resulting in neat bokeh photos, a large area thanks to ultra wide lenses, and long distances up to 2x optical zoom thanks to the telephoto lens.
Samsung said that the ToF 3D camera that is present at the front and rear has a function to record Live Focus video (blur effect background) and take 3D images.
Despite its large size, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has been equipped with a jumbo capacity of 4500 mAh which is claimed to last a long time in normal use. To charge the battery can be called fast thanks to the presence of Super Fast Charging 25W and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.
The device made by Samsung is also equipped with the Wireless PowerShare feature that allows the Galaxy S10 5G to be a power back for other smartphones. For the record, smartphones that can be branded by this smartphone must also support Wireless Charging technology.
Following the trend of today's flagship smartphone, the 5G Galaxy S10 has been equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor inside the screen that is able to detect fingerprints in 3 dimensions so that they are more accurately compared to ordinary sensors.
The smartphone's runway is entrusted to the Exynos 9820 Octa-core 2.7 GHz chipset or Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core 2.8 GHz which usage depends on Samsung's policies in each country.
To complement the chipset, the Galaxy S10 5G is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that cannot be added by microSD. With this configuration makes the smartphone very fast in running the operating system, applications, and games.
As always, the IP68 certificate is already owned by the Galaxy S10 5G which proves that it has been resistant to dust and water to a depth of 1.5 meters with a maximum time of 30 minutes.
This smartphone has also been equipped with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, Samsung DeX features, 4G-LTE network, NFC, and Android 9 Pie operating system with One UI interface.
Unfortunately, the price of the 5G Galaxy S10 has not yet been revealed but is reportedly going to be officially launched in the spring.
